09 Real-world player doubts

Straight answers

Is skateboarding a real sport with a future in India?

It is an Olympic sport (park and street) and an Asian Games sport, and Indian states are building skateparks. Olympic places come only through the World Skateboarding Ranking, so you must compete in ranking events. [1][3][2]

Does skateboarding count for government jobs?

Not through the central sports quota today — it is not on the DoPT list of 65 sports. Asian Games medals still earn cash awards. [8][4]
