ACPDC — Gujarat Polytechnic Diploma Admission
ACPDC manages merit-based admission to First Year Diploma, Second Year Diploma (C-to-D) and Second Year Diploma for working professionals across participating institutes in Gujarat. Registration and choice filling run on gujdiploma.admissions.nic.in.
What ACPDC does
Candidates register on gujdiploma.admissions.nic.in, fill the profile and SSC details, upload documents and pay the registration fee online. Provisional merit numbers are then allotted and the rounds follow ACPDC's schedule. [1]
- First Year Diploma — fresh applicants after Class 10.
- Second Year Diploma (C-to-D) — eligible lateral-entry candidates.
- Second Year Diploma for working professionals. [5]
Who can apply
- Students who have passed Class 10 (SSC) from a board on ACPDC's list of valid boards.
- Marks entered in the form: grand total and subject marks in Mathematics (Basic or Standard), Science and English, exactly as on the SSC mark sheet. [1]

Registration fee and the Tuition Fee Waiver
- The registration fee is paid online from the dashboard (“Pay Registration Fee”) before merit numbers are allotted; the amount is shown on the portal.
- Tuition fee for an allotted seat is paid online to confirm admission.
- Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW): if the whole family's annual income is below ₹8 lakh and you hold a valid income certificate, choose “I am interested” for TFW in the form. [1]
Merit and last year's closing ranks
- Merit numbers are allotted from the SSC marks you enter; any mismatch with the mark sheet is raised as a verification query.
- Category (Open, SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, ex-serviceman) and sub-category (disability, ex-serviceman, TFW) are chosen in the profile. [1]
What to upload
- SSC mark sheet as a single PDF; your name must match the Class 10 mark sheet.
- Photograph and the documents the form asks for (category, disability, ex-serviceman, income certificate for TFW, as applicable).
- Answer any discrepancy query from the verifying officer by uploading the corrected document on the portal. [1]

A diploma in engineering at a Government, Grant-in-Aid, PPP, Centre of Excellence or self-financed institute in Gujarat; ACPDC publishes the provisional list of diploma engineering institutes and their programmes each year. [5]
