Overview

What is IBPS PO?

The IBPS conducts the Common Recruitment Process for PO/MT once a year for participating public sector banks (State Bank of India (SBI) runs its own exam). Selected candidates join as officers in Junior Management Grade Scale I (JMGS-I) and serve a probation period, usually two years.

Final selection is based on Mains and Interview marks, followed by provisional allotment to a bank according to merit, preference and vacancies.
