  • Get an offer from an approved institution.
  • The institution submits the Student's Pass application on your behalf (SOLAR).
  • Receive the In-Principle Approval letter.
  • Complete the medical check and collect the pass on arrival.
BDocuments

What to prepare

  • Passport
  • Offer letter
  • In-Principle Approval
  • Medical exam report
  • Proof of funds if requested
CPR pathway

Step by step

  • Graduate; secure a job offer from a Singapore employer.
  • Employer applies for Employment Pass (meets qualifying salary + COMPASS).
  • After stable employment apply for PR with ICA (assessment is case-by-case).
  • Note: Tuition Grant students sign a 3-year work bond with a Singapore entity.

Post-study work: No dedicated post-study visa

  • An Employment Pass is for professionals and has a minimum salary and a points system.
  • An S Pass is for mid-level skilled workers and has its own salary and quota rules.
  • Some graduates from approved institutions may be eligible for a limited-duration pass to look for a job, so check the Ministry of Manpower.
  • Part-time work during study is limited and depends on your institution and pass conditions.
  • Internships and early networking are important because job offers are what unlock a work pass.

Proof of money: Show funds for tuition and living costs if the institution or ICA asks. Immigration rules change often; confirm on the official site.
