- Local status follows the Presidential Order 2025 (G.O.Ms.No.45): study certificates for Classes I to VII, or a Tahsildar's residence certificate only if the candidate never studied in a recognised school in that period.
- Women: 33⅓% of each category in Civil PC and 20% in AR (horizontal).
- 75% of PC (Civil) men vacancies in Scheduled Areas go to Scheduled Tribes domiciled in the agency areas of six listed districts.

Uploads in two stages
- Stage I application: photo, signature, SSC certificate, community certificate (BC / SC / ST), EWS and non-creamy-layer certificates.
- Stage II (after the preliminary test, before PMT / PET): scanned originals of all certificates.
- Study certificates for Classes I to VII (Annexure III-A) or residence certificate (Annexure III-B); widow / divorce papers if claiming age relaxation. [1]
Stipend in training, then the regular scale
- During institutional training (regular and extended), Stipendiary Cadet Trainee constables are paid a stipend fixed by the government from time to time.
- After training: constables, firemen and warders join the regular scale of ₹25,220 – 80,910 (Revised Pay Scales 2022).
- Employees appointed after 1 September 2004 are under the Contributory Pension Scheme. [1]
Sub-Inspectors (Civil, AR, SPF) also train on a stipend and then join the scale of ₹44,570 – 1,27,480 (RPS 2022). [2]
The stipend amount is not printed in the notifications, so it is not shown here.
Selection by merit, appointment after training
Civil constables are selected on final-exam merit and AR constables on written + PET marks, under the local-cadre order. Candidates must pass antecedent verification and a medical; equal marks are broken in favour of the older candidate. [1]
