Every major Assam recruitment route we could verify on one screen: the Combined Competitive Examination of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) for Assam Civil Service, Assam Police Service and nine other services, and the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) recruitment of Unarmed and Armed Branch Constables. Each page is built only from the official advertisement, and every fact links back to that file.

Both routes ask for more than a certificate of age and education: you must be an inhabitant / permanent resident of Assam, registered with an Assam employment exchange, and able to speak Assamese or another language of the state. Assam reserves separately for Plains (ST-P) and Hills (ST-H) Scheduled Tribes, and its OBC list includes a share for tea-garden tribes. For B.Tech, the Assam CEE (run by ASTU) is a 120-question OMR test with +4 / −1 marking, open only to holders of an Assam Permanent Residence Certificate (plus a central-employee quota).
