Jharkhand gives reservation only to its permanent residents, and only on certificates in the state's own formats — a local resident certificate and a caste certificate from Jharkhand officers. A central OBC certificate is not accepted, and women who moved to Jharkhand by marriage get no reservation. Both JPSC and JSSC mains include a paper in a regional or tribal language, from a list of about fifteen. Jharkhand Police constable and JSSC graduate-level (CGL) pages will follow once a current advertisement is published.
