Three Rajasthan rules decide more results than any other. One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSO portal is compulsory and its fee is paid once (₹600, or ₹400 for Rajasthan's reserved categories and persons with disabilities) — but missing two exams in a financial year blocks the OTR until a ₹750 penalty is paid. SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS benefits go only to Rajasthan's original residents; others apply as General. And women get a 30% horizontal reservation, with 8% of it for widows and 2% for divorced women.

RPSC and RSSB applications run only through the Recruitment Portal inside the SSO Rajasthan portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in) after One-Time Registration; notices are on rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. Police recruitment notices are on police.rajasthan.gov.in, and BSER / REET notices on rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Only use these official addresses.
