Chhattisgarh local candidates who appear get the exam fee refunded to the bank account used. Counselling has its own non-refundable fee fixed by the government. [1]
Local and Naxal-area candidates first
- Reservation follows Chhattisgarh's reservation law in force at the time of admission.
- Private institutions have a 15% management quota; minority institutions keep 50% of seats for minority candidates.
- Polytechnics in Naxal-affected districts (Surguja, Bastar, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Kanker, Korea, Jashpur, Sukma, Rajnandgaon, Kondagaon, Surajpur, Dantewada): seats go first to natives of those districts from the PPT list, then from the Class 10 (Maths + Science) list, then to natives of the same division, then the rest of Chhattisgarh, then outside candidates.
- Other polytechnics: PPT merit for Chhattisgarh natives first; any seats left go to candidates from outside the state. [2]
Verified at counselling
- No certificates are uploaded with the form; caste, date of birth, residence, education, disability and ex-servicemen certificates are checked during counselling.
- Keep the admit card safe — it is needed at counselling; it is downloaded from your Vyapam profile, not posted. [1]
Test fee and counselling fee
The instructions set only the test fee (₹100 – ₹200, refunded to locals who appear). Polytechnic tuition fees are not printed in these documents. [1]
Online counselling
Seats are allotted through online counselling by a committee formed by the state government, following the seat-allotment order above; candidates pay the government-fixed counselling fee online. [2]
