REET and BSER Board Exams — Latest Notice, Fees, Exam Timings and Class 10 Time Table
The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (Ajmer) runs both the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) and the state's school board exams. This page follows the REET-2024 notice (Vigyapti 01/2024 of 12 December 2024) and the Secondary Exam 2026 time table.
Two jobs for one board
REET-2024 was notified by BSER on 12 December 2024 (Vigyapti 01/2024). Online applications and fee payment ran from 16 December 2024 to 15 January 2025, admit cards were due from 19 February 2025 and the exam was held on 27 February 2025. [1]
When we checked, BSER's website still pointed to the REET-2024 site and listed results, scrutiny and supplementary exams for 2026 and a portal for the 2027 main board exam — no REET 2026 notice. [2]

Who sits REET
REET has two levels — Level 1 and Level 2 — and candidates may apply for one or both; the required educational qualification for each level must be held. The detailed eligibility, content and syllabus are in the detailed notice on the REET website. [1]
Shifts
REET-2024 shift timings [1]
| Shift | Time |
|---|---|
| First shift | 10.00 am – 12.30 pm |
| Second shift | 3.00 pm – 5.30 pm |
- Dates and shifts for each level are announced separately; candidates who applied for both levels sit both papers.
- Admit cards are only downloaded from the website; none are posted. [1]
BSER Class 10 papers in 2026 ran from 8.30 am to 11.45 am. [3]
Disability concessions in board exams
In BSER board exams, candidates with disabilities listed in the RPwD Act 2016 (40% or more) get one extra hour or a scribe on producing the certificate; for children with mild learning disabilities one extra hour, and a scribe for moderate and severe cases. [3]
Keep these safe
- REET application form and fee challan copy (needed to download the admit card).
- Mobile number and challan number used at registration. [1]
REET is an eligibility test
REET only certifies eligibility; teacher posts, pay and vacancies are announced in separate recruitment advertisements, so no pay is shown here.
Results and certificates
BSER publishes REET results, the scaling formula, final answer keys and question booklets, and issues REET-2024 certificates online on the REET website. [2]
