Accessibility statement
Every student should be able to read and use Education Margdarshan, on any phone or computer, with or without a screen reader. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have in place
- A Skip to main content link as the first thing on every page.
- Menus, buttons, folds and wide tables that work with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- One main heading per page and headings in order, so screen readers can list the page's sections.
- A dark mode switch in the top bar. The site also follows your device's dark mode setting.
- Less movement when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Fonts already on your device, so text shows at once and zooms cleanly.
- No sign-up, pop-ups or time limits.
Known gaps
- Some official PDFs we link to (exam notices, fee orders) are scanned images. We cannot change them, but the key facts are written out on our pages.
- Some wide tables scroll sideways on small phones. They can be scrolled with a finger or the arrow keys.
- Pages are in English only for now.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of a page is hard to read or use, email margdarshan07support10@gmail.com with the page link and what went wrong (and your device or screen reader if you can). We treat these reports like corrections and fix them first.
