AIAPGET 2026 — eligibility, marking, cut-off & fees

NTA has run AIAPGET since 2019 on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush, NCISM and NCH. AIAPGET-2026 is the common entrance for All India quota and state quota MD / MS seats in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy at all Ayush colleges, universities and deemed universities. No college may hold a separate entrance for 2026-27. [2]

About 49,864 candidates took the 2026 test (35,838 Ayurveda, 10,643 Homoeopathy, 2,649 Unani, 734 Siddha) at 205 centres in 104 cities. [4]

• A recognised BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS or Graded BHMS degree (or provisional pass certificate) with permanent or provisional registration.
• One year of internship completed, or due to be completed by the cut-off date.
• No upper age limit. Only Indian citizens can apply. [1]

The internship cut-off for 2026 was moved from 31 August 2026 to 31 October 2026 on the request of NCISM and NCH. [3]

• The syllabus is the graduate-level syllabus of each system as set by NCISM / NCH.
• Answer key challenges cost ₹200 per question. There is no re-checking.
• Ties are broken by fewer wrong answers, then higher aggregate % in the bachelor's degree, then the older candidate. [1]

• Central reservation for All India seats: EWS 10%, OBC-NCL 27% (Central list only), SC 15%, ST 7.5%, PwBD 5% in government and aided institutes. [1]

• The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) counsels All India quota seats in government, aided, national, central and deemed institutions.
• Each state / UT counselling authority fills its state quota seats on AIAPGET merit, with its own domicile and reservation rules.
• The score is valid only for the 2026-27 session. [4]
